WagFloaty Refund & Return Policy

At WagFloaty, we want you and your dog to feel confident about your purchase. If the size is not right or you change your mind, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

30-Day Fit Guarantee

You may carefully try the WagFloaty Dog Life Jacket on your dog indoors to check the size and fit.

To remain eligible for a return, the life jacket must not have been:

  • used in water
  • worn outdoors
  • washed or cleaned
  • stained, covered in pet hair or exposed to strong odors
  • scratched, torn, altered or otherwise damaged
  • returned without its original packaging, straps, buckles or included components

Trying the jacket on indoors for fit does not by itself make the product ineligible, provided it is returned clean and in new, resalable condition.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • the return request must be submitted within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date
  • the item must be in new, unused and resalable condition
  • all original packaging and included components must be returned
  • proof of purchase or your WagFloaty order number must be provided
  • the return must be approved by our support team before it is shipped

Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted or refunded.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact us at:

Include:

  • your full name
  • order number
  • reason for the return
  • the size and color ordered
  • clear photos of the product and packaging

If the return is approved, we will provide the return instructions and the correct return address.

Do not return the product to the sender address printed on the original package unless our support team specifically instructs you to do so.

Return Shipping Costs

For standard returns, including incorrect size selection or change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

WagFloaty will cover reasonable return or replacement shipping costs when:

  • the wrong item was sent
  • the item arrived damaged
  • the item arrived with a manufacturing defect

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. WagFloaty is not responsible for return packages that are lost, delayed or damaged in transit.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery if your order is damaged, defective or incorrect. Include your order number and clear photos or video showing:

  • the product
  • the issue or defect
  • the external packaging
  • the shipping label

After reviewing the claim, we may offer a replacement, reshipment, store credit or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Normal wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect sizing, improper adjustment, chewing, scratching, washing, misuse or unsupervised use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Exchanges

We do not currently process direct exchanges.

For the fastest replacement, contact us to return the original eligible item and place a new order for the preferred size or color.

A replacement order is not automatically reserved until a new order has been completed.

Non-Returnable Items

Returns cannot be accepted for:

  • products used in water
  • wet, washed or visibly worn products
  • products with pet hair, stains, odors or other signs of use
  • products damaged by a pet
  • products missing straps, buckles, packaging or other components
  • gift cards
  • items marked as final sale, where permitted by law
  • returns requested more than 30 days after delivery
  • products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Orders begin processing soon after they are placed.

Contact us as quickly as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will make a reasonable effort to assist, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed after the order has entered fulfillment.

Once tracking has been issued or the order has been handed to the carrier, the order can no longer be canceled and must follow the normal return process after delivery.

Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Orders returned because of:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address
  • refusal of delivery
  • failure to collect the package
  • unsuccessful delivery attempts caused by the recipient

may be refunded only after the parcel is returned and inspected. Original shipping costs and any return-to-sender charges may be deducted from the refund, where permitted by law.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received, we will inspect it and notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for us to process an approved refund after inspection.

Your bank, card provider or payment service may require additional time to post the funds to your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed that your refund was issued, contact us at [YOUR SUPPORT EMAIL].

Shopify refunds normally return funds to the original payment method, and the banking system can add processing time after the merchant issues the refund.

Shipping Charges, Duties and Taxes

Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, shipping protection fees, customs duties, import taxes and similar charges are non-refundable unless the return results from our error or applicable law requires otherwise.

Customers are responsible for any return customs declarations or return duties applicable to international returns.

European Union and United Kingdom Customers

Where mandatory consumer law applies, customers may have a legal right to cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving it.

Products must still be returned in accordance with applicable law and should not be used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and fit.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Product Safety and Proper Use

WagFloaty is a flotation aid for dogs. It is not a life-saving device and does not replace active adult supervision.

Always:

  • select the correct size
  • adjust all straps securely
  • inspect the jacket before use
  • introduce your dog to water gradually
  • remain within immediate reach of your dog
  • never leave a dog unattended in or near water

Damage caused by misuse, unsuitable sizing, incorrect adjustment or lack of supervision is not covered by this return policy.
